Biography

Maelyn Uyehara is a Principal of the Rider Levett Bucknall Honolulu office and is responsible for the management of office finances, workload planning, marketing, client development and personnel management and is the leader of the office’s cost consulting division. She has over 15 years in cost estimating experience including construction cost estimating, change order review and negotiation, litigation support and contract support.

Maelyn manages estimating for various types of projects such as single and multifamily residential, resorts, schools, convention centers, civic centers, industrial and office buildings. She has vast experience with estimating on military projects and has knowledge of their estimating software - Success & MCASES. Her recent project experience includes:
