Biography

Roy Baxter is the Associate Principal of Calgary office at Rider Levett Bucknall Americas. He is also a Certified Cost Consultant (CCC) and a member of AACE, International, a Construction Estimator Certified and a member of the CIQS and a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of PMI. He is a time-served craftsman electrician with a Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering and has over 20 years experience in mechanical and electrical cost estimating and project management.

Roy has nearly 25 years experience in the construction industry and has been responsible for cost planning from concept to construction level design estimates, change order evaluation, and value engineering on several major construction projects in USA and Canada, including the Tower and PNC Plaza, Alberta Health Services Hospitals and the Calgary Leisure Centres Programme.

When working for the UK’s largest construction company as a senior project manager Roy successfully delivered complex projects in the industrial, retail, education, health care, correctional and high-rise sectors.

All other applications made directly to specific vacancies online with be sent and processed by the local region responsible for posting the vacancy on the global website (www.rlb.com).
