The Singapore Flyer at a wheel diameter of 150m is larger than the London Eye's 135m diameter. Works were completed on schedule for the inaugural flight to take place 11th February 2008. The Singapore Flyer won the BCA Green Mark Award (2007) in recognition of its environmentally sustainable features and technology.
