Rider Levett Bucknall works with hotel investors, developers, operators and brand managers to develop major hotels and refurbish existing hotels. During 2008-2009, the company worked on large hotel projects in mainland China, Hong Kong, Honolulu and Macau.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL, USA

Rider Levett Bucknall provided project management, cost management and scheduling services for the renovation of the newly-acquired Monticello (now Hotel Abri) in San Francisco.
In order to provide a more comfortable experience for guests, rooms were reconfigured, bathrooms were remodelled and the ground floor lobby was renovated.
Rider Levett Bucknall's involvement consisted of complete coordination between the owner, architect and contractor. In addition to coordination, Rider Levett Bucknall was responsible for monitoring the design and construction process.
The client, Larkspur Hospitality Hotels, completed their renovations on time, on budget, consistent with their design and functional needs and with minimal disturbance to ongoing hotel operations.

EXCLUSIVE TIME-SHARE TOWER, USA

The Grand Waikikian is a new 38-storey, multi-million dollar luxury time-share tower located at the entrance to Waikiki on the island of Oahu.
The first four floors of the Grand Waikikian are dedicated to retail outlets, office space, and guest services. The remaining floors provide 331 luxury time-share residences that include one, two, and three bedroom suites. The top five floors are designated as penthouse suites and have exclusive amenities such as a private check in, concierge, and lounge. This development included significant demolition of existing structures, utility relocations and upgrades within an operating resort, and features a new beachside restaurant and super pool with water slides.
Rider Levett Bucknall provided complete project management services for the pre-construction and construction of this development. Our involvement included complete coordination between the owner, consultants, contractor, and various public agencies. In addition to coordination, Rider Levett Bucknall was responsible for managing the schedule and budget for the project including contract administration, risk management, detailed cashflow analysis, value engineering, and forecasting.

LUXURY RESORT, HONG KONG

Completed in 2009, the 26-storey Hyatt Regency Shatin is the first international branded hotel in Shatin, Hong Kong.
The Hyatt Regency Shatin features 567 guestrooms, restaurants and meeting spaces together with luxury spa and resort facilities, which capture scenic harbour views.
Rider Levett Bucknall was appointed to provide full quantity surveying services from the pre-contract stage to the post-contract stage including estimating, tendering, contract administration, cost control, interim payment, claims assessment and settlement of final account.
Rider Levett Bucknall provided the professional cost and contractual advice for the client which included value engineering at various design stages to maintain estimated costs slightly below budget. Rider Levett Bucknall also provided advice on the contractual arrangement at tender stage for different contract packages in order to get the greatest efficiency for the project and cost monitoring at the construction stage to avoid cost overruns.

PREMIER SERVICED APARTMENTS, SINGAPORE

The Pan Pacific Serviced Suites is located in the heart of Orchard Road Shopping District in Singapore.
With a total of 126 suites, the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites comprises one and two bedroom executive and premium suites as well as penthouses combined with food and beverage and other facilities.
Rider Levett Bucknall provided full quantity surveying services for this hospitality development, from project inception to completion.
Timely cost and procurement advice assisted the client in obtaining value for money in the design, construction and delivery of the project.
