The expo is an opportunity for Hong Kong and New Zealand to make a favourable impression to a huge audience, said Rider Levett Bucknall Hong Kong managing director Kenneth Kwan.
Along with an exhibition space that marries the theme of the expo - "Better City, Better Life" - with the nature and culture of New Zealand, the New Zealand Pavilion (pictured) will include VIP visitor facilities where New Zealand businesses and organisations can host actual or prospective customers and clients. It will also provide a platform to promote tourism, education and sister city activities.

As part of the Central Waterfront Public Realm project, the $5 million Simcoe Wave Deck comprises a unique extension of an existing concrete walkway that cantilevers over Lake Ontario.
The wave deck covers an area of approximately 650 m2, and comprises a structural steel base and timber decking, which create the distinctive wave feature.
Rider Levett Bucknall provided full cost estimating services up to pre-tender stage. The project was completed under budget at a construction cost of 2% under the budgeted cost estimate.

Millenium Point provides citizens with learning and employment opportunities and has successfully regenerated an inner city site.
The precinct accommodates a number of educational institutions and a wide range of commercial tenants together with major visitor attractions such as the Thinktank, an interactive science and technology-based museum.
Purpose-built facilities house the Technology Innovation Centre and the Birmingham School of Acting, delivering both landmark technology and 21st century educational facilities.
