At RLB, we are passionate about fostering the future of the quantity surveying profession. We proudly support initiatives that spark curiosity, inspire ambition, and introduce the younger generation to the opportunities within our industry.
This July, RLB was proud to be one of the sponsors of the University of Pretoria’s EBIT Week. This four-day programme, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology (EBIT), invited Grade 10–12 students to explore these diverse and exciting disciplines.
Throughout the week, prospective students gained valuable knowledge and experience, both on and off campus, through a blend of hands-on activities and theoretical insights, helping them make informed decisions about their study options and future career paths. It was also a valuable opportunity for them to engage directly with professionals and gain a deeper understanding of how their interests can translate into real-world careers.
Our support of EBIT Week reflects RLB’s long-standing relationship with the University of Pretoria. Many of our colleagues are proud UP graduates, and giving back to an institution that has shaped so many of our professionals is especially meaningful. As an organisation that truly values education, we are committed to investing in initiatives like EBIT Week that inspire ambition, curiosity, and resilience in tomorrow’s leaders, while helping to build a stronger, more innovative built environment for years to come.
