Breathing new life into a historic landmark requires a careful balance of respect and innovation. This project saw the sensitive refurbishment of The Fairview Hotel, ensuring its timeless character endures while meeting the expectations of the modern traveller.

The scope of works comprised the full refurbishment of the hotel’s 99 guest rooms, gym facilities and three restaurants. All upgrades were carried out with great care to preserve and complement the hotel’s 95-year architectural heritage, celebrating its historic charm while subtly enhancing functionality and comfort.

Construction was delivered in carefully planned phases, allowing the hotel to remain fully operational throughout the works. This approach ensured minimal disruption, maintaining guest comfort and experience at all times. Working collaboratively with the construction team, the project was successfully completed within the client’s tight budget and programme constraints.

The Fairview Hotel stands as a distinguished part of Nairobi’s cultural heritage. We are privileged to have contributed to its renovation, ensuring that this landmark continues to remain relevant and celebrated for generations to come.
