Maelyn Uyehara is a Principal Cost Manager for RLB’s North American practice based in the Honolulu office. Throughout her 30-year career in the construction industry, Maelyn has led and contributed to numerous projects across all sectors that span the Hawaiian Islands, Asia, and the Pacific.
Clients rely on Maelyn as a trusted advisor for her expertise in cost estimation and analysis, guiding clients through feasibility studies, value engineering, due diligence, and strategic planning to optimize capital investments. She has provided accurate consultation on both new construction and renovation projects for private and public clients, leveraging her expertise to navigate market constraints while ensuring budget compliance and delivering maximum value to clients and end users.
Maelyn is a current member and former president of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE International). She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
