Sandra Akmansoy

Sandra is a Principal at RLB and leader of our Dallas office, with a robust career spanning  three decades leading large and complex projects in the built environment. During her long career, she has held local and managing director positions, and been on regional boards for multi-national firms, where she has been responsible for business growth, and strategy development and implementation.

She has delivered underground metros, tunnels, bridges, data centers, manufacturing sites, hospitals, shopping centers and airports in over 15 countries as a project manager leading design teams and on behalf of clients. She is well-versed in various contracting methods, including traditional contracts, design-build arrangements, and public-private partnership agreements. This comprehensive skill set positions her as a leader capable of driving significant projects from inception to completion.

Her leadership is distinguished by a unique ability to develop and unify diverse teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. She is celebrated for setting clear strategic priorities and developing strong relationships that resonate and drive results, as well as excellent communication skills.
