Tim Ngai is a Director of RLB’s North Asia region. Based in Hong Kong, Tim currently has management responsibility for the Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhuhai offices. He is a director of RLB’s Global Board.
Joining RLB in 2002, Tim spent four years in Wuhan as the first person-in-charge of the Wuhan Office. He has since been involved in a wide range of projects across Hong Kong, Macau and the Mainland China Korea, covering commercial, residential, mixed-use, theme park and super high-rise developments. This has given him strong experience managing projects across multiple markets and sectors.
He specialises in contract management and project management, and acquired extensive knowledge of international contract systems, as well as feasibility studies for overseas projects.
Tim is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a Registered Professional Surveyor (Quantity Surveying Division) in Hong Kong, a China Registered Cost Engineer, a Professorate Senior Engineer (Cost Engineering) in Guangdong Province, and an NEC Professional. He also serves as Chairman of the Quantity Surveying Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (2023–2025). Tim holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Quantity Surveying from the City University of Hong Kong.
