Phoenix Police Headquarters is a revitalized cornerstone of public safety in downtown Phoenix. The facility integrates expansive infrastructure and advanced operational design to meet the dynamic needs of law enforcement and civic operations.

Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, the City of Phoenix Police Headquarters spans a 27-story office tower built over two basement levels. The headquarters itself offers 506,000 net rentable square feet of office space, purposefully renovated to accommodate a diverse range of law enforcement operations. These include specialized areas for officer training, a technology driven real time crime center, a 911/dispatch communications hub, and facilities for prisoner holding and booking. Additional features include a downtown patrol precinct, an indoor ballistics evidence shooting range, a staff wellness center, and designated public access zones. The building’s infrastructure supports both high-volume activity and long-term adaptability, with energy-efficient systems integrated to promote sustainable operations and reduce environmental impact.

One of the most significant highlights of this project was obtaining the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for floors 23, 24, and 25, which allowed us to provide a new home for the Communications Bureau (911). The biggest challenge was moving the cutover date up by a month and securing all the necessary inspectors’ signoffs, all while coordinating with their own vendors to get their technology up and running. It was a tremendous effort from everyone involved. After countless long shifts and multiple tests of the Fire and Life Safety systems, we came together and successfully met the new cutover date. The transition went smoothly, and the client was extremely happy.
