RLB was delighted to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Jockey Club i-Village at HKUST on 11 June 2026.

Our Chairman, Eric Fong, together with Deputy Director Pesire Lau and Senior Quantity Surveyors June Ip and David Poon, joined in celebrating a key milestone in HKUST’s campus evolution.

As the Quantity Surveying Consultant for this landmark project, RLB delivered strategic cost and commercial advisory services, supporting the client in navigating project complexities through proactive cost management, effective commercial risk mitigation and value-driven solutions.

Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in collaboration with Leigh & Orange, and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club i-Village sets a new benchmark for sustainable and connected student living. The development provides 1,551 student places within a vibrant, integrated residential environment that fosters community and innovation, and has achieved a BEAM Plus Provisional Platinum rating alongside recognition under the Green Building Award.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to this meaningful project, which will support future generations and further strengthen HKUST’s global community.

Congratulations to HKUST and all project partners, and we look forward to continuing this successful partnership.
