Jonathan Edwards
National Head of Sport
London, United Kingdom
Jonathan Edwards is RLB’s National Head of Sport in the UK and is responsible for leading sector activity across our offices.
Jonathan’s earliest involvement in sport for RLB was with the London 2012 Olympic Games and since then he has worked on multiple major international events across the globe providing consultancy advice to rights holders, host cities, and organising committees. His international experience allows him to understand the cultural differences that impact projects in different regions and the nuanced approaches of global clients. He is seen by many of his clients as their trusted advisor.
Broader project experience in delivering arena, stadium, and training venues has been invaluable to Jonathan’s sector knowledge, meaning he can provide clients with an opinion based on sound knowledge in the major drivers that deliver successful outcomes.
Jonathan is leading a drive towards measurement of value-based decision making in the sport sector built assets. This is focused on driving better social, environmental and economic outcomes, and improving the industry’s impact on current and future generations.
Jonathan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Portsmouth.
