People make progress together

RLB was engaged from the outset to support Ipswich City Council’s vision of transforming a tired city centre into a vibrant civic heart. With a long record in commercial and retail projects, and a trusted relationship with Council, we provided cost management expertise across the administration building, retail, food and beverage, and wider precinct.

Tulmur Place is a city-changing project. Council’s vision and the creativity of the design team were the real inspiration, and we’re proud RLB could play our part in bringing that to life.
Paul Megram, Director, RLB

Through disciplined cost management, careful value analysis and continuous oversight, RLB helped turn Council’s ambition for a re-energised city centre into reality. Ther result is a project that has transformed Ipswich.

A civic space designed for life

Six projectors and a glowing LED façade transform Ipswich’s centre into a vibrant, family-friendly heart at night – a little bit of Times Square magic.

Australia’s only standalone children’s library stands alongside a restored heritage hotel – creating a unique blend of innovation and tradition.
