Senior Specification Consultants

We are currently recruiting for a  with Common Arrangement/ NBS expertise to join our team within the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to strengthen our department and further develop the business by working closely with our existing clients and developing new business.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing high calibre specification consultancy and writing services.
  • To support business objectives and our goal to maintain  Customer Service Excellence
  • Being an active part of the team
  • Successfully achieving the required level of business development and profit growth
  • Take personal responsibility for delivering projects independently, on time and to the quality required.
  • Project managing specification projects to ensure they are resourced correctly and delivered on-time.
  • Client management/ lead consultant to architectural practices on project work.
  • Project management of projects including managing consultants/ team from inception to completion.
  • Understanding and practical experience of CSI Master Format projects

Candidate requirements:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering service excellence, with good commercial results.

  • Degree qualified in Architecture or similar technical discipline
  • Strong technical delivery experience
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Excellent specification writing skills
  • Knowledge of Common Arrangement / NBS/ CSI Master Format
  • Detailed understanding of JCT Contracts
  • Detailed understanding of Procurement Routes and how they affect the specification.
  • Strong track record in project management of projects from inception to completion
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
  • Able to build long-term relationships
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
  • A team player, outgoing, friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
