Rider Levett Bucknall appointed to landmark scheme in China

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has confirmed its appointment to the Fortune Jin Mao City complex in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China.
New landmark for Lanzhou City
RLB is providing pre and post contract quantity surveying services for the US$425 million (RMB 2.6 billion) mixed-use development, that’s set to become a new landmark for Lanzhou City.
The scheme is located in Dongfanghong Square, the central business district of the northwest Chinese city.
This 423,000 square-metre project, developed in two phases, is due to be completed in 2017.
Features include a 51-storey and 31-storey office building, and a podium configured as a prime shopping centre. The car park is arranged over four basement levels.
Endorsed by the city’s planning officials as a key project of the regeneration scheme, the Fortune-Jin Mao City Complex will turn the urban landscape into a place where locals and foreigners want to live and invest in.
The developer is Gansu Tianhong Jinyun Properties Ltd. The architect is RTKL.
