RLB appoints John Drillis and Andrew Suttie as joint Managing Directors

June 6, 2016.

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is pleased to appoint longstanding directors John Drillis and Andrew Suttie as joint Managing Directors of the Adelaide office.

Well known in the Adelaide marketplace, John and Andrew share 60 years of collective construction industry experience. Both are active participants in national RLB committees and shareholder conferences.

As joint Managing Directors of the Adelaide office, they will be responsible for the general operation of the South Australian practice, and will continue with RLB’s future growth and expansion plans.

John Drillis

John has provided expert advice on construction projects since 1986, focusing on cost management and lender services, conceptual cost estimating and planning, as well as producing highly detailed estimates.

His expertise includes sport and entertainment, education, aged-care and health care, public and civic, hotel and residential and commercial projects.

Highly regarded in the construction industry, John has made a large contribution to many landmark developments across South Australia, including the iconic new Adelaide Oval redevelopment.

Andrew Suttie

Andrew is involved in business development, bid management, client relations, and project leadership for public and private sector clients.

Since 1989, Andrew has provided consultancy advice on construction projects across all industry sectors. He is proud to have been involved in the majority of South Australia’s most iconic and challenging education and health projects, such as the $2 billion New Royal Adelaide Hospital – the most advanced health facility in Australia.

Peter Tulla stepping down

John and Andrew take over from Peter Tulla, who is stepping aside from his role as Managing Director in South Australia. He will focus on his RLB Global Board, Executive and Committee roles, in addition to his current project workload.

The Directors of RLB would like to thank Peter for his inspirational and energetic leadership of RLB in South Australia, and look forward to his continued involvement with the group.
