Nuclear expert Richard Petch joins RLB

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has appointed sector specialist Richard Petch as a Senior Partner in its nuclear team. He is responsible for leading the growth of the firm’s nuclear sector business.
With over 30 years’ experience in the heavy engineering, property and construction sector, Richard has spent almost half that time at senior director level in the nuclear sector.

Background in excellence
Prior to RLB, Richard was deputy commercial director at Sellafield Ltd Nuclear Reprocessing and Decommissioning, where he was on secondment from AMEC Foster Wheeler Plc.
Previously, he had been a partner at EC Harris where he worked in oil and gas, petrochemicals, nuclear and social housing.
Of his appointment, Richard said, ‘Having worked closely with RLB at Sellafield, where I experienced the service levels and sector knowledge firsthand, I decided that it was an organisation I wanted to work with.’

RLB has more than 30 years’ experience in the nuclear sector, providing a full range of procurement, commercial and cost management and project control services to a mixed portfolio of decommissioning and new-build organisations.
