RLB’s Hutt International Boys’ School, Wellington excels

Hutt International Boys’ School in Wellington has been awarded the Coffey Education and Arts Property Excellence Award at this year’s Property Council of New Zealand / Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards.

This is one of 14 RLB projects to be recognised on the evening, having provided cost management and quantity surveying services on the project. The RLB project team was led by Wellington Principal, Cameron Whyte.

Mr Whyte remarked, ‘Hutt International Boys’ School is well deserving of the Education and Arts Property Award nomination, for providing an impressive example of the best in modern learning environments.’

Hutt International Boys’ School is a progressive integrated secondary school, with a vision to offer students the best in modern learning environments. The new Maths Teaching Block and the Humanities and Commerce Blocks abound with flexible learning spaces and shared communal zones, to provide a multitude of teaching environments and educational delivery opportunities.

The Property Council New Zealand / Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards celebrate innovation and leading practice within New Zealand’s property development and investment industries.

RLB has partnered with the Property Council New Zealand to present the awards program for more than 18 years.

The 2016 winners were announced on 17 June at a gala dinner at Vector Arena in Auckland, attended by over 1,500 people.
