RLB and SQA at World Nuclear Exhibition 2016

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is attending the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) in conjunction with our French Euro Alliance partner, Sterling Quest Associates (SQA).

This exhibition is the most important in the global nuclear industry. Taking place in Paris from June 28-30, it is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors from around the world.

RLB and SQA can be found on stand number 2B-P40.

The main theme of the 2016 edition is “The civilian nuclear power industry in the global energy mix”.

RLB has more than 30 years’ experience in the nuclear sector and provides a full range of procurement, commercial and cost management, and project control services to a mixed portfolio of decommissioning and new-build organisations.

We are currently working in a number of nuclear sites and related programs of work across the UK and Western Europe, including Sellafield, LLWR and Springfields Fuels.

About WNE 2016

The exhibition will allow exhibitors and visitors to share feedback and proven best practices at business meetings and panel sessions. Topics will include future technologies’ contribution to nuclear power, maintaining and extending the lifespan of nuclear plants, nuclear power project management and waste management.

The first WNE, held in 2014, was a huge success attracting 495 exhibitors and 7,215 visitors from 71 countries. These included 53 ministers or secretaries of state, ambassadors, heads of government bodies, safety commissions, and power plant operators.

The RLB team attending the event includes Director, Mark Weaver.

Mr Weaver said, ‘RLB’s nuclear sector business has grown significantly over the last five years and our pipeline of opportunity has never been so high, reflecting the growing importance of nuclear as a means of generation.’

He added, ‘This exhibition has fast proven itself as one of the most important events in the global nuclear sector, and we are looking forward to maximising this ideal opportunity to interact with a full range of nuclear experts and operators, with discussions and debates over the most innovative solutions going forward.’

Delegates attending from RLB and SQA include Mark Weaver, Mark Clive and SQA Director, Mathieu Lamy
