New appointments

RLB Pentad is pleased to announce recent new appointments, and to welcome several new members of staff. Christiaan Rademan, with us since 2014, has been appointed as a Director to the main board of RLB Pentad in South Africa. Fred Selolwane, Louis du Plessis and Craig Hall have all recently joined the RLB Pentad family.

Christiaan Rademan – Director

Prior to RLB Pentad, Christiaan gained valuable experience working for other recognised players in the quantity surveying profession and in property development. His broad knowledge includes projects in the commercial, industrial, retail, residential, leisure and mixed-use sectors. He currently holds directorships of RLB Pentad Africa and RLB Pentad Mozambique.

Fred Selolwane – Managing Director

Fred joins us as the Managing Director of the RLB Pentad in Botswana. He has extensive experience in quantity surveying, having worked for a well known company in England, Botswana and Johannesburg, before joining RLB Pentad. Fred was the chairman of the Institute of Botswana Quantity Surveyors (2009-2013) and sits on the boards of many public and private institutions in Botswana. His many awards include the Building Journal Award from a leading UK building magazine, and the Wakemans Law Prize for his knowledge of construction law.

Louis du Plessis

Louis has joined RLB Pentad as an Associate Director and will be based in Cape Town. He has extensive experience in managing large projects including healthcare, commercial developments, and the development of public spaces. He has 14 years of experience working in both South Africa and the UK.

Craig Hall

Craig Hall is our new Director heading up the Engineering Cost Management Division. Craig has managed many engineering, mining and infrastructure related projects for a variety of clients during his career. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of estimating, procurement, pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying and contract administration services. He is also familiar with the GCC, FIDIC and NEC3 forms of contract. His experience includes shaft sinking, underground mining, open-cast mining, mine surface infrastructure, civil and infrastructure projects, process plants and port and rail projects.
