Four RLB projects garner Quality Building Awards

Four projects with RLB’s involvement were honored at the Quality Building Award (QBA) 2018 Award Presentation Ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 15 June.

Among which, Fire and Ambulance Services Academy won Grand Award under the category of Hong Kong Non-Residential (New Building – Government, Institution or Community), Redevelopment of Tai Lam Centre for Women won Merit Award under the same category, Redevelopment of St. Paul’s Co-educational College (Phase 2) won Merit Award under Hong Kong Building (Renovation / Revitalisation), and The Pavilia Hill as awarded Finalist under Hong Kong Residential (Multiple Buildings).

QBA 2018 was co-organised by nine professional institutions, and RLB Managing Director Stephen Lai is honored to be the Chairman of the Organising Committee. QBA, held biennially, gives public recognition to buildings of outstanding quality that demonstrate outstanding teamwork. The award also aims to promote a collective commitment by the building industry to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and competitiveness. This year’s theme, ‘Driven by Profession, United for Success’, aims to reinforce QBA’s vision – to unite professionals from diverse backgrounds and institutional membership bases in the spirit of pursuing excellence.
