RLB announces key promotions in New South Wales

Managing Director of RLB in NSW, Matthew Harris, today announced the appointment of Tracy Burnham and Oliver Nichols as Directors.

‘The first Australian office of RLB was opened by Harry Wexler in 1949. As we move into the next phase of our evolution we are looking for visionary leaders to ensure we are fit-for-purpose for the next 70 years, delivering the flawless execution, fresh perspective and independent advice that our clients need,’ Matthew said. ‘We have great confidence in Tracy and Oliver assisting to deliver our vision and our new strategy for the business.’

Tracy Burnham

Tracy is highly experienced in quantity surveying having worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand and, in her role, provides expert due diligence, procurement, cost planning and cost management on a range of projects. She also coordinates and oversees cross-functional teams to deliver major projects in the health, education, commercial and residential sectors. Tracy worked closely with clients to facilitate the effective delivery of our services towards the International Convention Exhibition Centre (ICC) and Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Prior to joining RLB in NSW, she held roles in the London and Wellington offices.

Tracy is a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. She holds a Bachelor of Construction in Quantity Surveying from Massey University, New Zealand.

Oliver Nichols

Through his tenure Oliver has worked on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors specialising in cost planning, financial reporting and post-contract cost management. With a primary focus in sport and recreation and high-rise developments, Oliver liaises with clients, consultants and contractors to propel complex developments towards successful delivery. Oliver has provided key input into major over-station developments such as Metro Martin Place in Sydney. His sporting experience encompasses stadium cost planning, most recently for Moore Park Stadium, plus games overlay and venue cost advice to host and bidding nations.

Oliver spent the early part of his career working on a number of intricate projects in London where he spent eight years prior to relocating to Sydney.

Oliver is a current NSW Justice of the Peace and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.

Tracy and Oliver assume their new positions on 1 November 2018.
