Building’s Good Employer Guide 2018 – RLB announced as a top 10 employer
November 12, 2018.

Building Magazine’s annual Good Employer Guide has selected Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) as one of the 10 best employers in the construction industry.
More than 70 companies were entered into this year’s guide, with 34 chosen for inclusion. Of the top 10, RLB was one of just 3 consultancies shortlisted.
The ten best employers were chosen for their use of innovative programmes and initiatives across five categories: training initiative, recruitment and outreach, flexible working, connection and communication, and wellbeing.
RLB submitted two entries and the Guide highlights our successes in both.
In the Training Initiative category, the guide showcases RLB’s Global Exchange Experience Programme (GEEP) which offers the chance for employees from across 120 RLB offices to visit, share and exchange knowledge.
RLB was also included in the ‘recruitment, outreach and inclusion’ section of the Building guide, highlighting the work of RLB’s EDI steering group and the opportunities offered by the annual David Bucknall scholarship. Offered to students in Birmingham, the scholarship provides an opportunity for young people to develop a career in construction and property.
Speaking about RLB’s inclusion in this year’s guide Hilary Richardson, HR Partner at RLB UK, said “It’s fantastic to be recognised as a Top 10 employer by Building Magazine. We continue to invest in our people and value their contribution and are committed to providing an environment that enables our people to fulfil their potential.”
