RLB Global Board meets in Dubai

In February 2019, the RLB Global Board met in Dubai, UAE.

RLB opened in Dubai in 2006, when the Melbourne office was asked to work with Nakheel Properties on the Nakheel Tall Tower. Since then, RLB has become a strong presence in Dubai, expanding its team and portfolio, offering cost consultancy, construction project management, claims management and development advisory.

RLB continues to work closely with quality developers and architects in the Emirate, and is currently involved in some of the region’s most prestigious projects, such as The Red Sea Giga Project and Mandir Temple in Abu Dhabi.

The Red Sea Giga Project

The world’s most ambitious and exciting tourism and hospitality project, an ultra-luxury destination, is being created around one of the world’s hidden natural treasures.

The initial groundbreaking of The Red Sea Project is expected in the third quarter of 2019.

Completion of phase 1 of the project is anticipated by the last quarter of 2022, including the development of hotels and luxury residential units, as well as all logistical infrastructure (air, land, and sea transport hubs).

RLB’s role is the provision of in-house commercial management for the delivery of work packages for Phase 1.

Mandir Temple, Abu Dhabi, UAE

‘Mandir’ is a Hindu place of worship, a haven for spirituality and a place for paramount peace. The project vision is to build an iconic, long-lasting, eco-friendly mandir and cultural centre to serve the Hindu community and the people of United Arab Emirates.

The Mandir temple envisions a creative concept site layout that provides an enriching experience for visitors.

The proposed site area is approximately 103,100-square-metres, and will include the traditional stone Mandir Temple as well as a cultural complex, which will serve as the hub of community activities and social services.
