RLB Appointed as Project Delivery Partner in Two Landmark Midlands Schemes
October 7, 2019.
RLB UK has been appointed the preferred project delivery partner of IM Properties (IMP) in two landmark schemes in the Midlands, Peddimore Employment Park and the recently approved Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Global Parts Logistics Centre.
Taking on the role of Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultant, Principal Designer and Project Manager across the projects, the two wins reflect the ongoing relationship that RLB has with IMP, which is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned property companies. As part of this role, RLB will manage the project delivery of its sustainability and social value initiatives with the Peddimore project signed up to the Birmingham City Council Social Value Charter which looks to maximise the benefits significant projects can bring to the local economy.
Jo Reynolds, Managing Partner at RLB UK West Midlands comments, “It’s a great accolade to be working on the two most significant construction projects that the West Midlands has seen in the last few years and testament to the close working relationship that the RLB team has with IM Properties. Both projects will help strengthen the economy, produce future employment opportunities and enhance the community.”
Jason Jasper, UK project director at IMP continues, “Having worked with the team at RLB for more than 20 years we knew that they would understand both our brief and approach, but also the needs and wishes of the clients on these significant projects. RLB’s expertise in the sector and the region, complemented by their national and global experience, means they can offer us worldwide best practice but with a local knowledge and understanding of the community where both builds are taking place.”
