RLB supports blue light services with ambulance win

RLB has been given the ‘blue light’ with a commission from the Welsh Ambulance Service, strengthening its work within the public sector and particularly in the emergency services sector.
Working with the Welsh Ambulance Service, RLB will undertake a series of ‘Six Facet’ surveys that help clients assess the condition and compliance of their estates covering maintenance, investment and asset strategies. Working in accordance with NHS Estates Code and land and property appraisals, Six Facet surveys provide baseline data for HBN 00-08 and support strategic decision making for estates and ERIC returns. In turn, this can help link estates strategy with capital programmes and masterplanning as well as support strategic backlog maintenance programmes.
Representing a new client relationship, the project reflects the firm’s expertise and experience in understanding the operational aspects of NHS trusts and the emergency services and comes at a time when the blue light services are under continued pressure. With tight timeframes across the project, it will see RLB work flexibly and around the ambulance services’ operations to ensure minimal disruption and adhering to strict COVID-19 regulations.
