Cairns

Seen as the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Cairns is located in tropical North Queensland. Once a sleepy sugar-milling town, it is now a popular destination for sailing, diving and snorkelling.

Its Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, in which RLB was involved, tells stories of the indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with music and dance.

Established in 1981, RLB in Cairns covers the far North Queensland area, including the Torres Strait Islands.

We are proud to have been involved in many notable projects including Cityport North and South (Cruise Liner Terminal), Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walk at Innisfail, James Cook University, Sea Temple Resort and Spa at Palm Cove, Cairns International Airport and the Cairns Esplanade development.
