GABORONE INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE

Known as a landmark building in Botswana’s capital city, the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) is one of the premier conference destinations in Africa.

This project was carried out by a private client on behalf of the Botswanan government and forms part of the Grand Palm Resort, which consists of the multi-faceted convention centre, a casino and two hotels.
The state-of-the-art, 5,000 square-metre convention centre is a double-storey building that offers world class banqueting and conference facilities for up to 1,800 delegates. It includes a fully equipped business centre and offers select business services. Guests have direct access to the 3-star Peermont Metcourt Hotel and the 5-star Peermont Walmont Hotel to experience leisure at its best.
RLB provided cost management and quantity surveying services.
