Overview
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was expanding and looking to enhance its portfolio with this new, innovative building. The glazed façade is made up of diagrid natural stone, with a geometric three-dimensional pattern draped over the building like a veil.
The building is light and airy, with an impressive open atrium featuring stepped floor plates to create one large uninterrupted space. Encouraging collaboration, comfortable office space sits alongside the auditorium, library and lecture halls.

RLB’s project team worked with a challenging brief, which was 5 years in the planning.
Ever-conscious of budget, we looked for ways to develop the construction process by sourcing local materials and using alternate construction methods.
RLB is providing cost management services for the construction phase. Our scope extends to contractual advice, claims consultancy and general counsel on all construction matters.
