SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STATE AQUATIC CENTRE

Built in combination with a 5-Star Green Star health facility, the aquatic centre features a 4,500-seat stadium, 50-metre competition swimming pool, 55-metre diving and water polo pool, and 1,000 square metres of recreational water.

The aquatic facilities meet international competition standards for athletes and major events.

Early workshops between the design team and Swimming SA took place to create a structural steel roof design to enable column-free deck and seating areas.
