The Design
As one of the first hospital projects in Hong Kong to be built under a design-and-build contract, this 60,000 square-metre hospital features a triangular ward setting so clinical staff can observe patients more effectively.
The Details
This acute general hospital includes 458 beds and advanced day treatment facilities. Ambulatory care services represent most of the facility, providing day surgery, day care, outpatient and community services. The hospital also provides 24-hour accident and emergency services, with a further 14 beds.
