Overview
This five-storey, 32,000 square-metre clinical space is constructed in the middle of a working hospital campus. It offers high quality care for patients and maximum access to technology for clinicians.
The centre includes a day surgery space, new operating theatres, consultation rooms and intervention suites. Two levels of the adjacent Waiora building were refurbished to accommodate radiology facilities and intensive care units.
The Details
The project also included demolition of an existing building and the addition of a pedestrian bridge over a main road linking to a new rehabilitation unit.
