WAT NAWAMINTARARACHUTIS THAI BUDDHIST TEMPLE

As the largest Buddhist Temple outside of Thailand, this 110,000 square-foot complex was completed in two phases, and includes a museum/ library, monk residence halls and a multipurpose hall.

Of the many beautiful features is a 185-foot gold Chedi or steeple, which pays tribute to Buddha. The interior artifacts and finishes were made in Thailand, including seven gold-clad bronze Buddhas.
Elements of the design fuse eastern and western cultures, and have been managed by a team of specialists. The complex is dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, of Thailand, who was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1927 and has been King since 1946.
RLB provided construction cost management services.
