On the back of RLB’s latest Construction Market Intelligence report, RLB Partner, Lucy Darling, spoke to leading industry publication, Data Centre Solutions, about how the sector will meet the ongoing challenge of growth and power constraints.

RLB’s latest UK Construction Market Intelligence report reveals that power constraints for data centres within London are prompting investment in data centre development in other regions, such as Manchester, Newcastle, Wales, and Scotland. In this interview, Lucy explains some of the challenges of building at a capacity to meet demand, how to procure and manage the supply chain and navigating the current data centre regulation, including sustainability and ESG.
