Data Centres are at the beginning of a new infrastructure cycle was the clear message in an interview that RLB’s Head of Supply Chain Management and Procurement, Jake Bush recently undertook with leading industry publication, Datacentre Solutions.
Referencing RLB’s 2026 Data Centre Trends report, Jake argued that the defining challenge for the data centre industry is no longer demand, but delivery. While demand across Europe remains strong, the sector’s growth will ultimately depend on its ability to deliver infrastructure at scale. He also examined the obstacles facing the next generation of digital infrastructure, from power availability and permitting constraints to ongoing pressures on supply chains, equipment and specialist skills.
