Leading digital and data built environment consultancy, RLB Digital has appointed Scott Pilgrim as a software product consultant, reinforcing its commitment to delivering cutting edge digital solutions and advice to its clients.
Scott brings a wealth of experience from founding and leading Bimsense and then Operance, where he collaborated with government bodies and industry leaders to develop pioneering software addressing key challenges in the sector. Notably, his digital platform laid the groundwork for delivering the Golden Thread of information under the Building Safety Act.
Scott began his career training to be an architect, followed by hands-on apprenticeships in bricklaying and later quantity surveying. However, his work over the last decade has seen him focus on transforming industry-wide challenges through digital solutions.
Michelle Zompi, Head of RLB Digital comments,
“We are delighted to welcome Scott to the RLB Digital fold. He brings a rare combination of development experience and deep technological understanding in the built environment. Working with the team, Scott will help us explore innovative, new ways to create value for our clients through digital and data strategies, and be at the forefront of the industry.”
Scott added,
“I have always been passionate about buildings – from my early training in the design of them and then understanding how buildings work from the ground up. That hands-on knowledge led me to explore how data is embedded in the industry and how outdated systems could be modernised to retain and use that data for future development and improvement. Joining RLB Digital feels like a natural continuation of that journey. Focusing on solving persistent industry problems with innovative solutions that bring lasting value to both clients and the sector as a whole.”
