Paul Beeston, Head of Industry and Service Insight at RLB, has been appointed to the board of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC).
In his new role as Industry Sponsor for Business Model Reform, Paul will lead the CLC’s efforts on improving how construction projects in the UK are procured, contracted and delivered.
He will be closely involved in initiatives to promote efficiency, resilience and sustainability across supply chains, including the implementation of the retentions ban and other payment reforms, and updating guidance set out in the government’s Construction Playbook.

The CLC works in partnership with government and organisations of all sizes across the construction industry to address the biggest issues facing the sector, from productivity and building safety, to skills, recruitment and the transition to net zero.
It has also announced that Stuart Togwell, CEO, Kier Group plc, will be its new Deputy Co-Chair, and Lilly Gallafent, Chief Operating Officer of Cast Consulting, will be Industry Sponsor for the Digitalisation of Planning and Building Control Systems.
