Turning OFCI complexity into clarity and control

Driving Delivery Success

Our client develops hyperscale data centres for leading global tech companies. We were brought in to manage the production planning process for three phases of their UK and Europe campuses.

We worked across multiple regions, contractors and supply chains, introducing a rigorous planning approach that improved on-time delivery from 75% to over 90%. Our role covered the full Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) life cycle – from signing off technical documentation to coordinating final delivery on site.

We focused on the detail, using our supplier relationships to close communication gaps and keep all parties aligned. We identified risks early and addressed them before they caused delays.

Live project visibility through dashboards

We developed bespoke dashboards to give a live, detailed view of every delivery by region, vendor, package and phase – including its place in the schedule. This supported internal progress tracking and gave executive teams a clear picture of the project status.

Managing the details that keep deliveries moving

We implemented weekly calls to check progress against the plan and actively managed all escalations and logistics – from permits to on-site coordination. We coordinated with suppliers and the general contractor to commission equipment on time, making sure sites were ready to receive deliveries. These touchpoints may seem small but missing them leads to delays and adds to costs in terms of storage or rescheduled transport.

Clarity, coordination and consistent momentum

With clear data, regular communication and a deep understanding of OFCI challenges, we kept the client fully informed – and the projects moving.
