At RLB, we understand that being an ethical and sustainable organisation goes beyond doing the right thing. It also requires clear, transparent reporting that demonstrates compliance and allows us to measure our ESG performance against our peers.

As a 100% employee-owned practice, we have the autonomy to shape the business we want to be. Acting responsibly and sustainably is a priority for us and is central to how we operate. We recognise that integrity, openness and accountability – as well as full compliance with laws and regulations – are essential to maintaining stakeholder trust and long-term success.

Strong governance is embedded in our culture and forms a standing agenda item for our Executive Board. Our compliance team oversees our management systems and policies covering quality, sustainability and health and safety, in accordance with international standards.

Internal auditors are integrated throughout the business, working closely with colleagues at every level to reduce risk and liability, identify corrective and preventative measures, share best practice and drive continuous improvement. We take a zero-tolerance approach to corruption, legal breaches and unethical behaviour.

Our use of the EcoVadis rating methodology to benchmark performance, alongside our commitment to the UN Global Compact, underlines our dedication to robust ESG reporting and to aligning our activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
