We are building an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive
All our achievements are built on the commitment, energy and talent of people across the RLB family. That’s why we are focused on fostering a workplace where everyone feels safe to be themselves, recognised for the value they bring, and supported as they progress in their careers.
To promote fairness, transparency and equal opportunity for all, we are taking action in three key areas:
- Building an inclusive workplace – We are developing a talent strategy that will enable us to overcome bias in the construction and property management industry by recruiting, retaining, developing and promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Representing our local communities – As a socially responsible business, we want to support the communities in which we live and work by attracting and retaining a workforce that is representative of these communities.
- Investing in our people’s development – We are creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where everyone is equipped with the skills they need to excel, encouraged to reach their full potential, and feels able to bring their authentic professional self to work.
By bringing together people from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences, our teams benefit from a wider range of perspectives and ideas. This allows us to approach challenges differently, develop more innovative and effective solutions for our clients, and create lasting positive impact for the communities we serve.
We also understand that when people feel motivated, supported and connected to a sense of purpose, they are more likely to perform at their best. We are investing in a range of initiatives, benefits and processes designed to support wellbeing and help our people flourish both personally and professionally.
As we move forward, we will continue to listen, learn and measure our progress against others. We recognise there are areas where we can and must do better and we will always try to improve our performance. By refining our approach and strengthening our initiatives over time, we aim to build a genuinely inclusive culture and a resilient, future‑ready business.
