We are currently recruiting for a Hydraulic Services Estimator to join our client focused team in Adelaide. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in a similar estimating role and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role.
The Hydraulic Services Estimator will be responsible for carrying out and delivering both pre and post contract estimating duties and have a commitment to delivering customer service excellence and good commercial outcomes.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- A Registered Plumbers Licence and associated qualifications
- Demonstrated plumbing and hydraulic services estimating experience for construction projects
- Knowledge of standards and codes for plumbing and hydraulic engineering services
- Estimating, technical skills and practical knowledge
- Construction industry experience in South Australia and Australia (desirable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of all types of hydraulic design solutions including practical site understanding
- An ability to work as part of a project team
- Good communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
- Experience with estimating software systems such, onscreen takeoff software (ability to work in a BIM environment advantageous, but not essential)
- Eligibility to work in Australia
The Hydraulic Services Estimator will work within a strong team of engineering services cost estimators who work on both pre and post contract estimating duties, including but not limited to:
- Project estimates for the various phases of a project
- Cost control – planning, forecasting and estimation
- Value management associated with hydraulic services
- Benchmarking analysis associated with hydraulic services
- Post contract services, including assessment of progress claims and assessment of contract variations.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior estimators
