CANOPY AND HAMPTON HOTELS BY HILTON

Hampton by Hilton is a 48 key hotel and Canopy by Hilton is a 56 key hotel. Both hotels are located in the Al Seef area of Dubai, positioned along Dubai Creek. This historic area of Dubai has undergone regeneration featuring a combination of heritage architecture and contemporary design.

The two properties had been experiencing recurring issues with high levels of internal moisture, manifesting in numerous defects within hotel rooms and corridors. The problems persisted despite return visits by the original contractor, multiple investigations and works being undertaken to rectify the issue. The issues became so extensive, it resulted in the affected rooms being closed to guests and a loss of revenue.

Rider Levett Bucknall were engaged by Dubai Holding Real Estate to undertake a series of defect specific condition surveys and as a result were able to determine the root causes of the issues and determine the most appropriate course of action to resolve them.
