Highlights
Canberra’s RLB Crane Index® fell to 240 points in this edition — the lowest since Q3 2015. The city now has 12 active cranes, a decrease of 10, with three new cranes added and 13 removed. The residential sector saw two new cranes and eight removals, leaving nine in operation. The commercial sector also contracted, with two removals and no new cranes added.
New additions:
- Hotel: Garema Place Hotel (Canberra)
- Residential: The Chandler (Belconnen), The Charlotte (Phillip)
Removals:
- Aged Care: Amberfield (Weston Creek), Arcare Wright (Wright), Goodwin Village (Downer)
- Commercial: Anzac Park East (Parkes), Australian Taxation Office (Barton)
- Residential: Anzac Park East (Parkes, three cranes), Calypso (Dickson, two cranes), Northbourne Village (Lyneham, one crane), The Grande (Canberra, two cranes)
