Highlights
The Gold Coast RLB Crane Index® increased from 393 to a record 447 points, the highest on record. A total of 21 cranes were added, and 13 were removed, bringing the regional total to a new high of 67.
Residential activity continues to dominate, with 95.5% of all cranes located on housing projects. The only other sectors with cranes operational are aged care and education.
New additions:
- Residential: Bounce (Surfers Paradise), Capital Court (Varsity Lakes), Crest (Broadbeach), Cypress Palms (Surfers Paradise, three cranes), Harbour Shores (Biggera Waters), Hillcrest (Reedy Creek), Iconica (Main Beach, two cranes), Immerse (Kirra), La Belle (Palm Beach), Laani (Mermaid Beach), Maison (Broadbeach), Marine Quarter (Southport), One Burleigh (Burleigh Heads), Peerless (Mermaid Beach), SSHP (Southport), V and A (Broadbeach), Wave Street (Mermaid Beach), Zenith Residences (Southport)
Removals:
- Commercial: One project in Southport
- Residential: Twelve projects across Burleigh Heads, Bilinga, Broadbeach, Hope Island, Main Beach, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Palm Beach, and Coolangatta
