The Newcastle RLB Crane Index® increased from 113 to 125 points. A total of 3 cranes were added, and 2 were removed, bringing the region’s total 10 cranes.

Residential activity continues to dominate, with six cranes on residential projects and four cranes on mixed use projects (which include residential).
New additions include:
- Residential: Sovereign Park, The Hill; Belmont Reimagined, Belmont.
- Mixed Use: University of Newcastle, Student Accommodation
The cranes at John Hunter Hospital were removed.
