Highlights
Perth’s RLB Crane Index® dropped from 95 to 91 points in this edition, with 39 cranes operating across the city—down from 41 before. Seventeen cranes were added to new developments, while 19 cranes were removed. Construction activity in Western Australia remains robust, recording 22.6% growth in Q2 2025, with $23.4 billion worth of work completed. Residential construction grew by 4.0% compared to Q2 2024, with house activity up 2.7% and apartment construction increasing by 3.3%. The residential sector continues to lead locally, accounting for 51.3% of all cranes in Perth.

- Education: Curtin University B316 Science Building (Bentley)

- Residential: 10 Lanikai Lane (Sorrento), 18B Tweeddale Road (Applecross), 23 Civic Gardens (Cannington), Jolie Apartments (Jolimont), Muse at Artisan Place (Fremantle), North Coogee Social Housing (North Coogee), St James Apartments (St James)
- Retail: Bunnings (West Perth)
Removals: Nine from residential projects and ten from non-residential projects across the city.
