Highlights
The Sunshine Coast RLB Crane Index® fell from 180 to 130 points in this edition. Eight cranes were removed, and three were added, making the total 13. Residential activity remains the main driver, with 10 cranes operating — down by one — accounting for 76.9% of all cranes in the region. Civil activity saw the biggest decline, dropping by two cranes, while health decreased by one. Other sectors — including education and hotels — remained unchanged.
New additions:
- Residential: 43–45 Beerwah Parade (Beerwah), Ascend Apartments (Kings Beach), Avoca Residences (Peregian Springs)
Removals:
- Commercial: 50 First Avenue (Maroochydore)
- Civil: Lake Kawana Pedestrian Bridge (Birtinya)
- Health: Maroochydore Private Hospital (Maroochydore)
- Residential: Bianco (Caloundra), Aero Apartments (Maroochydore), Cotton Tree by Mosaic (Cotton Tree), Emporio Place (Maroochydore)
