Sydney Metro Martin Place Integrated Station Development – Macquarie Group

A benchmark in community-led placemaking, the Sydney Metro Martin Place Integrated Station Development reimagines the heart of Sydney’s CBD as a vibrant, inclusive destination.


Extensive engagement with local Aboriginal communities, youth groups and not-for-profits informed every aspect from public art to green spaces, creating a precinct that reflects cultural identity, safety and inclusion.


Judges applauded its collaborative cultural strategy and lasting social impact.

Development of the Year – Mixed-Use

Sydney Metro Martin Place Integrated Station Development – Macquarie Group

One of Australia’s most ambitious mixed-use precincts, this project seamlessly integrates two premium office towers, a state-of-the-art metro station, retail offerings and new civic spaces, all constructed above live rail lines and heritage fabric.


Praised for its scale, complexity and contribution to city-making, it sets a new benchmark for vertical integration in urban environments.

The Urban Developer & ULI Award for Decarbonisation in Real Estate

Sydney Metro Martin Place Integrated Station Development – Macquarie Group

A national exemplar in climate-conscious design, the project achieves 100% renewable-powered operations and full electrification. Innovative reuse of materials contributed to 6-Star Green Star and 5.5-Star NABERS ratings.


The development demonstrates net-zero ambition from construction through to ongoing operations, defining what sustainable infrastructure delivery can achieve.

Development of the Year – High-Density Residential (Under 200 Dwellings)

Hampton Quarter – EPC Pacific and Pace Developments

Located in Bayside Melbourne, Hampton Quarter comprises four architecturally distinct buildings by ARM and JAM, delivering 177 dwellings, 159 private residences and 18 affordable homes supported by premium amenities and seamless rail integration.


Judges highlighted its inclusive housing mix, high liveability, and 7.8 Star NaTHERS energy performance as a model of contemporary residential excellence.

Development of the Year – High-Density Residential (200+ Dwellings)

AURA by Aqualand

This $1 billion landmark development in North Sydney delivers 386 luxury apartments, a rooftop amenity, curated hospitality precinct and direct access to the Victoria Cross Metro.

Designed by Woods Bagot with interiors by Richards Stanisich, AURA reflects Aqualand’s integrated development approach, strong sales success and its role in reshaping North Sydney’s skyline.
