Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Stuart Hackney to Associate in our Cairns office, effective from July 2026.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, Stuart has established himself as a trusted adviser across Far North Queensland, leading the delivery of projects throughout the region. As Project Leader for RLB’s Far North Queensland portfolio, he brings extensive regional and remote project experience, underpinned by strong technical expertise and a practical understanding of project delivery.
Having worked in both client-side and contractor-side roles, Stuart provides valuable commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle. His ability to identify opportunities for cost savings, manage project risks and support informed decision-making has earned the confidence of clients across a diverse range of sectors, including defence, health, commercial, residential and public infrastructure.
